A Volusia County man has been convicted of vandalizing vehicles belonging to an Asian family in New Smyrna Beach. A judge sentenced Kyle Christiansen to one year in prison, three years under house arrest and seven years probation for painting the vehicles with words directed at the family race, including the word “die”. He also strewn nails in the driveway. This caused over $ 5,000 in damage.
